This embroidered hat is from Turkmenistan. It features bold "E"-shaped tridents, which may serve as the tamgas of a specific tribe. The diamond design in the top part of the hat could also carry totemic significance. Notably, the motifs are outlined with a double row of red stitches, and the wavy border design can also be found on the Tekke chirpy.
